Fashion Draping

In this 2-part workshop participants are introduced to the basics of draping, a form of pattern making and an essential element of fashion design.  Participants learn how to professionally drape a sleeveless basic bodice front and bodice back (essentially a top) on a dress form, including learning how to block muslin.

NOTE: This is a two part workshop. You must be able to attend both parts of the workshop.

Natural Dyeing

From our earliest time, we've always tried to duplicate the colors of nature, because color is fascinating and is interwoven into the fabric of our lives. 

Come learn ----as Calandra demonstrates how to make dyes from various natural substances and gives instructions for dyeing natural fibers with them while eliminating synthetic chemicals from the process.

NOTE: This is a two part workshop. You must be able to attend both parts of the workshop.
